Unable to login via Excel4Apps
Unable to select required SAP environment
Invalid listed SAP environment
Missing or corrupt SAPLOGIN.ini file.
Missing product details.
Invalid SAP environments found.
These are the places that Excel4Apps looks for a saplogon.ini file:
1. C:\users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows
2. C:\users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\VirtualStore\Windows
3. C:\users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\SAP\Common
4. C:\users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common
If the saplogon.ini file is stored in a different location, this location will need to be specified in SAPLOGON_INI_FILE environmental variable.
This is done by clicking on the Start button in Windows, then Right-Clicking on COMPUTER. Then choose Properties. Then go to Advanced System Settings. Click on Environment Variables (Near the bottom) and Add a new System Variable. The Variable name will be "SAPLOGON_INI_FILE" (no quotes), and the Variable Value will be something like "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common \saplogon.ini".
Confirm the contents of this file to ensure that the SAP systems listed in here correspond to the SAP systems that appear via the SAPGUI. We recommend doing a search for all saplogoin.ini files on the workstation and identifying an 'old' version that should be removed.
Excel4Apps attempts to utilize the same SAP connections as you SAPGUI. SAPGUI also gets it's list of SAP system from the saplogon.ini file. If it works for the GUI it will work for the Excel4Apps, provided that they are both looking at the same logon.ini file.
